Pickleball has become the fastest growing racquet sport in the country, and many parks and clubs now share tennis courts with painted pickleball lines or have converted courts outright. Dedicated pickleball facilities, indoor and outdoor, rent courts by the hour and run open play sessions where players rotate in. Padel, played on an enclosed court with glass walls, is arriving in the Sun Belt and big cities; platform tennis (paddle) is a winter game on heated, elevated courts in the Northeast and Midwest; racquetball and squash live inside athletic clubs and YMCAs; badminton and table tennis have their own clubs in most metro areas. Equipment is cheap to rent or borrow for a first session at nearly all of them.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 8 am–10 pm. Philadelphia is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Philadelphia peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I'm just saying 5 stars because it could be for me. Great courts, staff, amenities, and I have no problem parking on the street. Problem is I am 77, I could go Intermediate on a good day, but I want to play Novice level to minimize injury, and just want to have fun. Most people I see are competitive. Maybe advertising, with a little graphic of location. The outdoor courts the City claims to have are pathetic. Maybe this is no town for old folks, where are they?

Tip top facility and superb staff, Alex, Roger and Shawn all great. I was passing through town and their scheduled players for 4.0+ didn’t show so they helped work me in with a group lesson and then with some better players looking for some competition. In the end I got a great workout in and met some amazing pickle ballers. Come play here, you’ll be glad you did !

Very nice & well maintained indoor facility. The lighting was great & there was enough space & ball barriers between each court. I played two different days while visiting Philly in May. β€œ4.0 recommended open play” was exactly as described, w/ most players being right at or slightly under that rating. Many were friendly though there seems to be a core group that likes to stick together whenever possible. Visitors can only sign up by calling the club directly after registering under β€œEducation Membership” category via Court Reserve App but it was free. Fees seem to range between $10-15 for open play. Overall, it was a great experience. I would return to play in the future.

The three stars are for the excellent facilities and climate controlled environment and great staff, but that's about it. On top of being expensive compared to several other facilities I've attended (to be fair mostly in other states), they can't be bothered to provide free parking. Mind you, the parking lot is barely used from my observation most of the time. If you are going to charge relatively high fees, the least you can do is provide some perks. I love playing at this place but I can't justify $60 per week for 4 days of playing which is what I have to spend ON TOP OF A MEMBERSHIP FEE when this is what I was paying per month in a neighboring state for unlimited open play with no extra membership fees and free parking. That other facility in that other state is one frequented by Ben Johns whenever he visits that particular city so that gives you an idea of the quality.

Great customer service from Alex today for helping me reserve a court for playing Open Play Pickleball. He was very helpful in clearly explaining the policies at Bounce Pickleball. It was a pleasure to coordinate with him. Andrew was also very helpful with coordinating the reservation when I arrived including paddle rental. Very clean facility and very friendly staff! Highly recommend this place!
